SUPPORT
How many water bottles fit inside the frame?
Medium, Large and XL frames can accommodate two 21 oz. water bottles inside the front triangle; one on the down tube, and one on the seat tube. Small frames allow for the versatility of placing a water bottle on the down tube or seat tube mounts and using the other mount for tools. All sizes can have an optional third bottle mounted underside the downtube. Longer bolts need to be used to accommodate the bottle cage with the down tube guard installed.
What length dropper post will fit inside the frame?
Every frame size has a 300mm insertion depth. This will fit almost every size dropper post. The exact dropper post length installed will depend on several factors including: rider inseam, crank arm length, length of crank arms, stack height of the dropper post seat clamp, stack height of the bushing collar of the dropper post, and seat height. As part of our 23-Point Custom Setup™, we ensure that each rider’s bike comes custom fit with the longest possible dropper post that will fit you so that you have the most comfortable and confident ride in every situation.
What is the bottom bracket frame spec?
73mm English thread. Our philosophy is simple, if the bike is intended to be ridden in the dirt, it gets a threaded bottom bracket. Threaded bottom brackets are easier to service.
What length dropper post will fit inside the frame?
With our uninterrupted seat tube design, even the small frame has enough insertion depth to use a 200+mm dropper. This is inseam/saddle height dependent to fit the rider.
What type of derailleur hanger does the Delano use?
The Delano features the all new SRAM Universal Derailleur Hanger (UDH). We chose this derailleur hanger for simplicity, reliability, and performance. In the event of an impact to your rear derailleur, the derailleur hanger will bend away and help protect the frame and derailleur from irreparable damage. The UDH can be purchased directly from Fezzari.com.
Can the Delano fit a chain guide?
The Delano incorporates ISCG-05 mounts for chain guides or bash guards that can be added at checkout, or purchased later on your own. Just be sure your chain guide is ISCG-05 and boost 148 chainline compatible.
What is the biggest tire size the Delano Peak can accommodate?
29er up to 2.6” or 27.5 x 2.8”, adjustable through the integrated Geometry Adjust (GA) Link found at the lower shock mount on the rocker link. We do not recommend tires with a diameter smaller than 27.5 x 2.8.
Will the internal cable routing rattle inside the frame like other bikes?
No. We specifically engineered the Delano Peak to minimize cable slap by utilizing our adaptive, future-proof, and rattle-free CleanCatch™ cable management system. The chainstay has internal molded cable routing to the rear derailleur. This makes for easy maintenance and a quiet ride.
What are the rear shock dimensions and compatibility?
The rear shock size is 210 x 50mm. The mounting hardware is M8 x 25mm on the top and M8 x 30mm on the link side. 30mm wide mounting width makes the shock bearing mount compatible. Bearings come standard on any builds with Fox Factory suspension and are an upgrade option on other suspension specs. The Delano Peak’s suspension design is optimized for an air shock. However, it does have a progressive design that will allow a coil shock to be used. The following coil shocks have been tested on the frame for clearance through the travel range: Fox DHX2, MRP Hazzard, Rockshox Super Deluxe Coil.
What are the head tube dimensions?
A zero stack (ZS) style headset with an upper ID dimension of 44mm and lower of 56mm will work on this frame. The technical SHIS names are Upper: ZS44/28.6; Lower: ZS56/40.
What is the recommended fork length?
150mm travel is ideal, but 140mm forks work well as well.
What seat tube diameter and seat tube clamp diameter does the Delano use?
The seat post diameter is 31.6. The seat clamp diameter is 35mm.
What are the dimensions of the rear hub and axle?
Hub: 148x12mm - Axle: 174x12x1.0mm
What bearings are used in Delano’s rear suspension pivots?
We use the highest quality sealed stainless ball bearings in our pivot points. Bearing replacement kits are available from Fezzari.
