TECHNOLOGY
WE BROKE THE MOLD

Strength
Strength through technology. By using Monoform™ construction – a true 1-piece mold – there is no bonding, no dead spots, and no frame alignment issues. The Empire passed XC mountain bike testing (most road bikes don’t).

Beauty
Beautiful on the inside and out. CleanCast™ manufacturing means more consistent carbon walls (no joints, no creases, no excess resin, no wasted material).

Simplicity
By simplifying the standard manufacturing process by 4 steps, we reduced potential errors. No pre-bond machining (there is no bond), no bonding (it’s one piece), no bond curing (again, no bonds), and no secondary alignments (frames that are bonded need another alignment). This means better frame strength and consistency.
PERFORMANCE
POWER TO THE PAVEMENT

POWER TRANSFER
Some stats over our previous frame: 20.5% better head tube lateral stiffness (that means more confident cornering and better sprinting power); 15.3% more efficient rear wheel power transfer; 3% stiffer bottom bracket. Efficiency = power.

CORNERING / SPRINTING
It feels like it’s on rails. With 12mm thru axles and MonoForm™ construction that eliminates dead spots, it’s not power to the pedal. It’s power to the pavement.

Climbing
With frame weights starting at 815 grams, it’s a lightweight. Even the fork weighs in at 392 grams, lighter than some of the premier aftermarket forks. But make no mistake, it packs a punch.
COMFORT
EXPAND YOUR COMFORT ZONE

Damping
Because of MonoForm™ construction, vertical flexing top tubes, and 27.2mm seat posts, high speed road vibration is significantly reduced, making it one of most comfortable road bikes you’ll ride.

Design
The frame is engineered for comfort. Example: the seat stay intersects at a lower point on the seat tube allowing for better vibration dampening. Also, the MonoForm™ frame construction eliminates the dead spot in the seat stay that increases the frequency vibration.

Tires
With tire clearance up to 32c and all builds coming stock with tubeless ready wheels, you can personalize your comfort zone.
FEATURES
DETAILS THAT MAKE A DIFFERENCE

Internal
Fully internal cable routing options (even no visible cables from the bars to the frame) clean up the cockpit. The intuitive routing means easy maintenance and capability for all cable systems.

Braking
The frame is tuned specifically for the unique forces of disc brakes. And, notably, it passed the higher mountain bike brake testing standards.

Adaptability
Tires up to 32c, which means more comfortable rides on all road conditions, and up to 3 cages in the front triangle for more hydration or your tool kit.
COMFORT & SPEED

Built to handle tires from 25 mm all the way up to 32 mm, you don't have to choose between comfort or speed; you can have the best of both worlds.

THE PROCESS

START WITH A BLANK SLATE
We started with a blank slate to design the fastest, most comfortable, lightweight carbon fiber road bike we've ever made.

FULL-SCALE PROTOTYPE
To speed up the development process we create a full-scale 3D printed frame to check things that are hard to verify with a computer model.

CHECK EVERY DETAIL
The Empire had to meet our strict testing standards. We test at 130% of industry standard and perform 4 additional tests that are not required. After all, every Fezzari is backed with a lifetime warranty.

REAL-WORLD TESTING
Before a bike can goes into full production we create a full carbon prototype to make sure every detail is dialed.

NIMBLE & RESPONSIVE
The geometry of the Empire was designed to be able to handle anything you throw at it, whether that's steep mountain climbs, curvy canyon descents, or the finish line sprint.

UNPARALLELED RIDE QUALITY
With room for tires up to 32mm wide and frame features such as dropped seatstays and a sloping top tube, the Empire will be one of the most comfortable road bikes you own.

FULL INTERNAL CABLE HOUSING
With fully internal cable routing from the shifters to the brakes (optional), the Empire comes loaded with style. Look carefully - there are no cables. Everything is internal.
