27.5 wheels for a fat bike? Why was that chosen?
The contact patch of a 27.5x4.5” tire is larger than the contact patch of a 26x4.8” tire. This is due to the longer contact patch that happens with the larger diameter 27.5” tire. A longer contact patch will float better as well as roll faster. This helps when riding in snow, sand, or other soft trails conditions. The larger diameter helps you get over obstacles easier too.
What is the BB spacing and standard?
100mm english thread BSA
What is the hub spacing (front and rear)? What are the axle dimensions?
197x12 rear hub spacing and 150x15 front hub spacing. Rear axle dimensions: TA12/224mm/M12xP1.0x20mm. Front axle dimensions: TA15/198mm/M15xP1.5x20mm.
How are the cables routed?
The cables are routed internally through the frame from ports located near the headtube. The Fezzari Clean-catch cable guides hold the cables tight for a rattle free ride.
What cranks can I use? What is the chainline and q-factor?
We recommend SRAM Fat 5 cranksets that feature a 76.5mm chainline and 208.5mm q-factor. The RaceFace Ride Cinch crankset will also work in the 190mm spindle configuration.
What size wheels and tires fit? 27.5 and 26?

Can I run a tubeless setup? Is that a good thing in the cold? Will my sealant freeze?
Fat bikes can be run tubeless. It is a good idea to check with sealant manufacturers for their recommendations. We use Stan’s NoTubes sealant with great success in the cold.
